FOUNDATION ROUTINE - JUNE 2014

Hi Everyone!

This is one of my foundation routines - you know me - I get into a routine for a few months, but it also changes depending on the season/weather and my location.

Being in QLD the last several months, even though it was Winter, has definitely made me revert back to a powder-focused foundation because it's all about oil control for me!

LIFE UPDATE [OLD] - MAKEUP HAUL - THE BALM

Hi Everyone!

This life update video is a little out of date - I mention how we're living in Queensland - that was the case when it was filmed 6 months ago, but now we're moving again!

I will update more about that later, but for now check out the video which focuses on a haul of The Balm makeup - an Irish brand made in the USA with cute vintage packaging and amazing formulas!

This brand is available at DJs which is cool!

I've been travelling back and forth a lot lately and somewhere along the line I've lost my beloved Mary Lou-Manizer!!!!

Maybe that means I should buy the Betty Lou..... :)

Moisturiser: Shiseido pureness 

Foundation: L'oreal nude magique eau de tint

Concealer: thin lizzy in miss Von Dita and illamasqua skin base lift in white light (not pictured)

Powder: Nude by Natute in light skin tones

Powder: elf cosmetics sheer loose setting powder

Bronzer: Australis Yolo

Highlighter: MAC limited edition gold/pink combo mineralize

Blush: Illamasqua Katie

Brows: Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow in blonde set with ChiChi baked Italian eyeshadow in two shades and Revlon clear brow gel

Eyeshadow primer: Lime Crime Eyeshadow helper

Eyeshadow: meet matte nude palette by the balm (two middle left brown shades) in the crease blended out with the white and yellowish colour to the brow bone

Life Update and Inspiration

For those of you who don't know, I'm from Sydney, but have recently moved to the Gold Coast for a new job. Alex and I found a new apartment to live in, and soon I will update you with photos of my current makeup collection and set-up. 

I made sure I could be facing the natural light, looking out a window to the Gold Coast Hinterland, so my new videos for my channel will hopefully have much more consistent lighting. 

In the mean time, here are some of my recent makeup looks and images that are keeping me motivated and inspired about beauty.

OCC MAKEUP HAUL + SWATCHES

Hello!

I've been trying to do more filming, editing and uploading lately. I filmed this a month or so ago, but finally had time to upload it. I've loved Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics for a few years now. Their eyeshadows are amazing. I wish they did pressed powders or palettes, but their Loose Colour is great quality and value for money. 

I really wanted to try some more Lip Tars, so I ordered a bunch of the new finishes and some classic ones.
